Dr Lasio is an organic chemist PhD with an interest in cosmetics.  In my day job, I am a researcher at a large chemical company.  At night, I am a cosmetics formulator, on a quest for ingredients that deliver results.  With a caveat, though - yours truly, as I mentioned, is a chemist.  As such, I have what you would call an unusual regard for chemicals.  Especially synthetic chemicals, those we didn’t evolve with as a species.  I love them in my lab, in my flasks, but nowhere near my body, my skin, or my plate.  So, this is the first principle that drives the development of my products.  What I will recommend is what I use myself, the ingredients that have stood the test of time, the ingredients that have shown both their efficacy and safety. Here at Dr Lasio Cosmetics, we are interested in looking at all things that promote health and beauty.
